The Manhattan Beach Karate organization is a member of the International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF), which is the world governing body of traditional karate as recognized by the International Olympic Committee.

We are also a member of the American Amateur Karate Federation (AAKF), which is the only governing body of traditional karate in the U.S. as recognized by the ITKF.
